  1. Matt Harding says :

I’m not sure if you’re teasing the Australian’s or not, but please pronounce Aussie as “Ozzie”!

BTW – My background with coding standards in large organisation is that you outsource peer reviews (i.e. Expect them to be done for junior developers), but it still pays to do an audit of peer reviews regularly since outsourced support staff aren’t necessarily Senior Developers either. It’s a real problem getting up to date ABAP’ers in a support organisation, which is probably why the session sells out so fast.

You have my moral support for a world tour to run this course for free. It would pay off for SAP to get coders who actually leverage the power of ABAP!

    See you in Phoenix!

    Matt

ps. Something I learnt when hanging out with people from Alabama is that when they say “What’s Up?” it’s actually the same as saying “Hi” (appropriate response is “What’s up?”. It’s funny hearing Thomas always try give Ed an answer to this question…

firstly I second Matt’s call to pronounce aussie properly 🙂

Paul Graham from ycombinator fame has a nice essay on the point about coding better at night, which pretty much nails it – http://www.paulgraham.com/makersschedule.html
