Although I didn’t get the opportunity to record nearly as many interviews at TechEd Vienna as I would have liked, I did get a chance to chat with fellow SAP Mentor and eGhead - Nigel James of Apps Com Limited.

Nigel shares his thoughts on being an SAP Mentor and active member of the community, a little bit about BSP, and the state of the industry from his point of view.

We also spend a little time looking back at some of the less know activities of TechEds past (digging up some stories that were perhaps best left unmentioned).

In this podcast he shares his experiences as an SAP Mentor, talks about the upcomming SAP Inside Track Lima (which he is organizing) and we discuss UI topics like Adobe Flex development and FlashIslands for Web Dynpro.

While in Boston during the Business Objects Influencer Summit I had a chance to sit down with Doug Merritt which was really cool, I’ve been able to sit in on many blogger roundtables with Doug and he’s always be upfront and honest about what’s going on so having come on the show was highlight for me.

Being on the “inside” I was dying to ask him about the deal between the “Business User” and “Information Worker” and the confusion that seems to be surrounding them both. It was a great chat and we covered a lot of different things including the SAP Imagineering group from Denis Browne and the future of the program!
