Ha well, glad to know that it's never too late to take a good old rashioned ribbing...I'll never live that hot dog down, but hey, I'm in good company: http://www.flickr.com/photos/58867743@N00/88049159/

But I think it's time for my traditional blog comment. Just today I sent no less than three folks who emailed me about SAP's career direction over to the Enterprise Geeks podcast. It's pretty cool that in a year's time, you've gone from an idea to the "go to" place, in my view, for developers in the SAP world. Which of course is not a knock on SDN, which remains hugely important. But there's something going on here that matters to those who want to understand not just where SAP is headed technically but also to be a part of a kind of culture that is developing. As you say, it's an honor to for any of us to be a part of it in some small way - even if it means being on the wrong side of a hot dog joke!

As for future topics, I would agree that understanding the role of "Agile" in traditional ERP environments would be a potent topic. In fact I was Tweeting with Twan (@tbroek) about this on Twitter recently, and he could be a good guy to pull in the mix on this topic.

Also: I think there is interest in how SAP development trends are impacting the SME products, All-in-One, By Design, and B1. At the Influencer Summit, I was struck by how much crossover there seemed to be - more than ever before - in terms of shared UI technologies (NetWeaver Business Client), etc. Plus the By Design plan to open the development up to a broader community, in this case Silverlight.

Well, keep up the great work...I hope to explore some of these themes in my own podcasts, perhaps from a functional direction, so maybe we'll meet in the middle again for a live taping session at Sapphire!
